Theresa’s Way Forward
First-Generation Scholars Foundation
Closing the remaining financial gap after loans, grants, and scholarships, clearing the path for students to make their college dreams a reality.
Our First Scholar
Who We Are
Our Foundation supports eligible Mattawan High School students who participate in the Level Up program through scholarships, mentorship, and resources that remove barriers. Every dollar is intentionally directed toward measurable, student-centered impact, helping students persist through college, navigate challenges, and graduate with the confidence, support, and opportunities they deserve.
Theresa’s Way Forward is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Did you know that even after state and federal loans, grants, and scholarships are applied, many students still face a financial gap up to $4,500 per semester or $9,000 per year.
Theresa’s Way Forward First-Generation Scholars Foundation is committed to a policy of equal opportunity and nondiscrimination. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected status in the administration of its employment, programs, or activities.
