Welcome to the Theresa’s Way Forward donation page.
We’re excited to support eight first-generation college students in the 2026–2027 school year, with plans to add at least five new scholars every year after. This year, our students will attend Michigan State University, Central Michigan, Western Michigan, and Kalamazoo College.
Our immediate goal is to close the funding gap for these eight students by raising $65,000 for the 2026–2027 school year. Any amount raised beyond that will go directly toward supporting students in 2027–2028.
We are a completely volunteer-run organization, so every dollar you give goes straight to removing financial barriers and opening doors to higher education. Your support helps first-generation students focus on learning, growing, and building a brighter future.

The financial gap for the 2026/27 school year ranges from $3,000-$4,500 per semester or $6,000-$9,000 per year.
