Theresa was my grandmother. As a single mother living in poverty, she carried hope when little reason remained, always brightening a room in her favorite purple clothes and playful earrings. She poured her love into her children, believing in a life where they would be safe, loved, and cared for. Through her quiet courage, our family broke the cycle of poverty and stepped into the life she had dreamed for us.

Theresa’s Way Forward: First-Generation Scholar Foundation carries her spirit forward, supporting first-generation students and helping them bridge the gaps to their dreams. Each student’s success is her legacy made visible, proof that opportunity and support can lift one life and ripple across generations.
